Coordinating the engineer
As soon as a project touches the structure, an engineer who is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec analyzes the building and seals the plans. We coordinate their mandate, carry the permit application, and execute their plans to the letter. It's the law, and it's also what protects you at resale.
Collaborations
We work with the architects, technologists and designers you've already hired. When you don't have any, we connect you with the ones we've worked with for years. A plan done well up front saves more than it costs.

Our guys are ours. They're the same from the first day to the last. That's why we can hold a standard without renegotiating it at every stage of the site.

Where our work begins.
That's when we discover the wall is load-bearing, the city has a zoning by-law, the duct runs through the neighbour's ceiling. It's also when many contractors propose shrinking the project.
We look for it first.
Sometimes it doesn't exist, and we say so right away. Most of the time it exists, but it takes more steps, more coordination and more patience than the standard method. That's exactly what we're paid for.

Alexandre St-Amour is the third generation in his trade. His grandfather did it, his father did it. ASA has existed since 2013.
The team that comes into your home is the one that was leaving the previous site. It isn't a list of subcontractors assembled according to the week's availability. The difference shows mostly when something isn't up to standard: a subcontractor has executed their purchase order and is already elsewhere, while an in-house team redoes the work without needing to argue about it.
It's also what makes a schedule credible. When the same people go from demolition to structure to rough plumbing to finishing, there's no dead time between two contractors who've never spoken to each other.
